Did you know that energy-efficient improvements to your home not only lower your energy bills, but may also help with lowering your tax bill as well -- putting as much as $450 back in your pocket?
Homeowners who have made energy-efficient improvements, including upgrading to a Rinnai Tankless Water Heater, may qualify for a $300 US federal tax credit known as the Nonbusiness Energy Property Credit. For a tankless unit to qualify, it must have an energy factor of at least 0.82 - a requirement all Rinnai Tankless Water Heaters meet.
In addition, homeowners may qualify for a $150 credit with a recently installed Rinnai Condensing Boiler. Every Rinnai Boiler meets the Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency rating requirement of at least 95 percent.
Products must have been purchased between January 1, 2015 and December 31, 2016.
