Rinnai is headed to the Javits Center in New York City next week to showcase its latest water-heating innovation, the Hybrid-Tank-Tankless Water Heater and its complete line of venting solutions at the Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Show (AHR). The world’s largest HVACR marketplace, AHR, drew more than 55,000 visitors and exhibitor personnel to last year’s show in Dallas. The 2014 show promises to be even larger with 1,800-plus exhibitors and more than 380,000 square feet of booth space, exceeding by 6 percent the 2008 AHR Expo in New York City, which held the previous record.
This year, the Rinnai booth (#8309) will include a number of heating, water-heating products, as well as the company’s latest venting solutions. Product highlights include:
Rinnai Hybrid Tank-Tankless Water Heater combines the on-demand heating technology of a Rinnai Tankless Water Heater with an energy-efficient and durable 40-gallon storage tank. When coupled together, these technologies offer homeowners more than twice the water-heating capacity of a traditional 50-gallon tank in the first hour.
North America’s number-one selling brand of tankless water heaters, the Rinnai Ultra, Luxury and Value Series, will also be on display. The booth will also feature the Rinnai Tankless Rack System, a water-heating solution for commercial projects.
Water- and Home-Heating Solutions
Designed for smaller residential applications with up to 1.5 baths, the Rinnai E50C Boilers are the ideal solution for residential home-heating and water-heating needs. The latest in the E Series Boiler lineup, they are more cost effective to install, as they require fewer pumps and no primary secondary piping for common installations. The E50C touts the highest efficiency of any combi boiler on the market, 95.6 percent AFUE, which translates into reduced monthly energy bills for homeowners.
Also showcased will be the Q Premier Boiler System, which offers a one-appliance solution for home- heating and water-heating needs. Combining the efficiency of a Rinnai solo boiler coupled with a 24-gallon hot-water storage vessel, the Q Premier brings the best of both technologies into a single unit, which offers homeowners reliable comfort with more capabilities, efficiency and versatility than ever before.
Rinnai’s collection of five ENERGYSAVER® Direct Vent Wall Furnaces operate at up to 83 percent AFUE and differ from conventional heating systems because the units do not rely on ductwork to distribute heat. Instead, the furnaces operate by dispersing warm air directly from the base of the unit, creating a more consistent room temperature and reducing troublesome cold spots.
Rinnai is also reintroducing its Vent-Free Fan Convectors, which provide the perfect supplemental heating solution to most any hard-to-heat space, such as an apartment suite, room addition, condo, basement or sunroom. The automatically adjustable heat output and blower allow the unit to maintain a consistent temperature.
AHR is co-sponsored by ASHRAE, a diverse international organization that represents system design and industrial processes professionals, and the Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI).
