Rinnai Expands Boiler Presence with Innovative I-Series Boiler for the Residential Market

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. (April 10, 2019) – Rinnai America Corporation, the number-one selling brand of tankless gas water heaters in North America, is expanding its presence in the North America boiler market with the launch of the new I-Series Boiler.

With a strong focus on product innovation, Rinnai continues to provide homeowners with solutions that are designed to promote comfort while advancing domestic hot water production through compact design, ease of installation and service, as well as use of emerging technologies.

The I-Series Boiler has a unique advantage to homeowners with the ability for simultaneous usage of home heating and domestic hot water production. That means, if the heat is running and someone in the home wants to take a shower, the heat is not interrupted as it is with many traditional boilers in existing homes. The technology also includes an innovative bypass servo valve, which enables precise control of the hot water temperature.

As with Rinnai’s number-one selling tankless water heaters, the company manufactures many of the key components and utilizes high-quality materials. This further enables Rinnai to maintain control of the quality of the product, which the Rinnai brand is known for in the market.

“From a global perspective, Rinnai continues to be a leader in the boiler category and has proven success in the market,” said Frank Windsor, President, Rinnai America Corporation. “With the launch of the new I-Series Boiler, Rinnai has further expanded its boiler presence in the North American market. We will continue to drive innovation and category growth in this market as we have done with tankless water heating, all while staying true to our vision of ‘enhancing lives by changing the way water is heated.’”

This boiler is available in both combi and heat-only models and comes standard with multi-zone heating control. The boiler will be available starting July 2019, just in time for the upcoming heating season and pre-orders are currently being accepted. Additionally, for every tankless water heater or boiler Rinnai sells this year, it will make a contribution of up to $250,000 – to fund scholarships in the plumbing and HVAC trades.
