PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. (April 2, 2013) - Rinnai America Corporation is helping radio and TV personality Clark Howard, Atlanta Habitat for Humanity and five new homeowners celebrate key milestones in 2013. Manufacturer of North America’s number-one selling brand of tankless water heaters, Rinnai is donating a Luxury Series Tankless Water Heater to each of the five Atlanta Habitat homes in Verbena Place, a new subdivision in Atlanta, GA.

On March 9, as part of Team Clark Howard, Rinnai employees put their homebuilding skills to work. Since 2006, Rinnai has donated more than 1,250 tankless water heaters to Habitat for Humanity International.

“Our longstanding partnership with Clark Howard and Atlanta Habitat make this incredibly special and we’re honored to be part of such a monumental year,” said Kerri Walker, senior marketing manager at Rinnai. “Tankless technology offers these deserving families a myriad of benefits, such as energy efficiency and an endless supply of hot water.”

During this build, Clark Howard welcomed home his 50th homeowner—a significant achievement. The five new homes also launched the 30th anniversary year of Atlanta Habitat and Clark Howard’s 18th anniversary of building affordable homes with the non-profit organization.

Located in Atlanta’s northwest Dixie Hills neighborhood, this 15-acre property will include 54 single-family homes and 3.5 acres of permanently preserved green space.

“We are thrilled to have completed five houses at Verbena Place, realizing a vision for a sustainable, walkable neighborhood,” said Larrie Del Martin, Atlanta Habitat president and chief executive officer. “These families will build community as they gain stability in their own lives in their own homes.”
