Rinnai Corporation, one of the world’s leading gas appliance manufacturers, is pleased to announce that it has selected Southwest Sales as its manufacturer’s representative in the states of Texas and Oklahoma with the exception of El Paso, Texas, which will continue to be serviced by MJM Associates. In this role, Southwest Sales will be responsible for handling day-to-day customer relations and product sales related to Rinnai’s tankless water heater, direct vent furnace, hydronic air handler and hearth offerings. The company, which features a 12- person sales team with decades of experience in the plumbing industry, will use a segmented sales approach to help meet market demands and assure greater visibility for Rinnai products among installers and distributors.
Southwest Sales has been a significant player in the Texas plumbing industry since it was founded almost 10 years ago, and the company’s strong presence in the Southwest makes it a perfect partner for Rinnai,“ said Ron Hunter, Rinnai’s vice president of sales and marketing. “We chose to work with the Southwest Sales team because of their expertise in plumbing products and the dedication they demonstrate to their customer base. We feel that this partnership will help Rinnai continue its strong growth throughout the United States by increasing our market share within the Texas and Oklahoma sales territories.
According to Southwest Sales President Steve Elis, Rinnai is poised to have a major impact in the southwestern U.S. “We’re thrilled to be partnering with a technology leader like Rinnai and look forward to helping the company grow its reputation as the manufacturer of choice for installers in our area,” said Elis. “As a general rule, we’re very selective when it comes to the clients that we represent, and Rinnai is definitely a welcome addition to the Southwest Sales roster.
