Rinnai Corporation, the world’s leader in gas appliance manufacturing, is making additional hearth options available to American consumers through the introduction of its new Impression™ outdoor fireplace and the launch of a new flexible venting system for the company’s RHFE-750ETRA indoor fireplace line. Both products offer the advanced gas technology and high performance that is traditionally associated with the Rinnai® brand as well as increased style and placement versatility, which enables consumers to customize the look of their living environment, whether they are designing a new patio or renovating their family room.

“At Rinnai, we strive to provide consumers with hearth products that enhance their living spaces both physically and aesthetically,” said Charles Collison, manager of Rinnai’s hearth division. “While we are a relatively new player in the American hearth arena, we’ve experienced great success overseas and are confident that the Impression outdoor fireplace and new RHFE-750ETRA venting capabilities will resonate with installers and consumers. The addition of these technologies to the Rinnai product portfolio demonstrates our commitment to the U.S. hearth market, and we look forward to steadily growing our business as we continue to develop innovative fireplace offerings that combine superior performance and sleek, modern design.”

The Impression Outdoor Fireplace

Rinnai’s new Impression outdoor fireplace is designed to be the centerpiece of an outdoor living space or patio. Featuring a unique linear design and constructed with stainless steel, extruded aluminum, natural pumice and quartz for a contemporary look, three Impression styles offer consumers the ability to create a personalized fireplace that best suits their outdoor living environment. Units are available in a single-sided model, a seethrough cabinet model that allows the fire to be viewed from both sides and a freestanding model featuring a table-top design, all of which can be set in materials such as stone, plaster or brick in order to match existing décor. Each Impression unit runs on a 20-pound propane cylinder or can be converted to natural gas, and it possesses no electrical or venting requirements for easy installation. Suggested retail prices are $2,600 for a singlesided unit, $3,200 for a see-through cabinet model and $1,500 for a freestanding unit.

The RHFE-750ETRA New Venting System

Providing high quality heat production and energy-saving technology, the RHFE-750ETRA is the flagship model of Rinnai’s hearth portfolio. Now, Rinnai has increased the installation and placement flexibility of the unit by offering venting options in multiple directions—vertical, rear, horizontal and down & out— and allowing the use of up to 33 feet of venting pipe with up to three elbows, enabling a wider variety of installation locations and simplifying the venting process for installers. The system’s ability to vent in a downward direction is especially unique and will help installers minimize the visibility of the exterior vent terminal. In addition to the benefits offered by its new venting capabilities, the RHFE-750ETRA provides supreme heating comfort. The RHFE-750ETRA incorporates Rinnai’s advanced seven-stage modulating gas control technology, the same technology found in Rinnai’s EnergySaver direct-vent wall furnace, and uses only the energy necessary to reach and maintain a room’s temperature. Each unit is able to comfortably heat large living areas, helping to minimize a home’s reliance on a central heating system or boiler, which often can reduce energy costs while allowing homeowners to enjoy a cozy fire. The fireplace features a unique warm air outlet that is located below the flame picture to provide optimum heat circulation as well as an intelligent programming system that allows a room to be pre-heated to a specific temperature at a specific time. The RHFE-750ETRA also is energy-efficient, possessing an AFUE of up to 85 percent, and consumers may choose from four striking fronts including radius black or silver glass, black metal or stainless steel. The suggested retail price of an RHFE-750ETRA unit, including the front, is $3,950. For more information about Rinnai, visit www.rinnai.us.
