Rinnai Showcases New Venting Solution at 2014 International Builders’ Show
PEACHTREE CITY, GA. (Feb. 3, 2014) — Rinnai America Corporation (Booth #C7343) is featuring its Ubbink® Concentric to PVC Twin Pipe Adaptor at the largest annual residential and light-commercial construction show in the world, the International Builders’ Show® (IBS). The newly engineered adaptor is designed for use with Rinnai’s Ultra Series Condensing Tankless Water Heaters.
“With the introduction of the new adaptor, we now offer PVC as an additional venting solution for our condensing tankless water heaters. We still favor Concentric Polypropylene for its superior joint fit, no cure time, quick installation and reduced wall or roof penetrations, however, we understand that PVC is sometimes more readily available and materials are less expensive in comparison,” said Joe Holliday, director of product management, at Rinnai.
Three additional products showcased within the Rinnai booth—the E50 Condensing Combi Boiler, the Hybrid Tank-Tankless and the recently reintroduced Vent Free Fan Convector—also tout ease of installation for professionals, while providing the ultimate comfort experience for homeowners.
The ideal solution for residential home-heating and water-heating needs, the Rinnai E50C Condensing Combi Boiler is more cost effective to install, requiring fewer pumps and no primary secondary piping for common installations. Designed for smaller residential or multifamily applications with up to 1.5 baths, the E50C touts the highest efficiency of any combi boiler on the market, 95.6 percent AFUE, which translates into reduced monthly energy bills for homeowners. Compatible with a 1/2-inch gas line, the E50C boiler can be fueled by natural gas or propane, has an input range of 13,600 to 50,000 Btu and only requires a minimum gas pressure of a 3-inch W.C.
The Rinnai Hybrid Tank-Tankless Water Heater, or RH180, combines the on-demand heating technology of a Rinnai Tankless Water Heater with an energy-efficient and durable 40-gallon storage tank, which offer homeowners more than twice the water-heating capacity of a traditional 50-gallon tank based on the first-hour rating. By combining the two technologies, Rinnai has created a high-capacity water heater that installs like a tank, requires a 1/2-inch gas line and is compatible with a 4-inch B-vent or common vent with furnace. The unit’s hot- and cold-water connections are the same as a traditional tank-style water heater.
Rinnai’s Vent Free Fan Convector provides the perfect supplemental heating solution to almost any hard-to-heat space, such as an apartment suite, room addition, condo, basement or sunroom. The automatically adjustable heat output and blower allow the unit to maintain a consistent temperature. Convenient to use and easy to install, the Fan Convector allows any homeowner or resident to get the most comfort from their space with virtually no heat loss from vents.
Not to be missed, Rinnai is also showcasing its signature Ultra, Luxury and Value Series Tankless Water Heaters, as well as the Q Premier Boiler and a Direct Vent Wall Furnace.
Beyond the Show Floor
Rinnai’s presence at IBS this year extends beyond the booth to Professional Builder’s Show Villiage and The New American Home sponsored by the National Association of Home Builders. Both homes feature Rinnai Ultra Condensing Tankless Water Heaters, which tout an Energy Factor (EF) of .96.
