Think Tankless On Google+
The International Builders’ Show(R) (IBS)—the largest annual residential and light-commercial construction show in the world—starts Monday in Las Vegas. Rinnai is excited to feature its new Ubbink(R) Concentric to PVC Twin Pipe Adaptor designed for use with Rinnai’s Ultra Series Condensing Tankless Water Heaters.
With the introduction of the new adaptor, Rinnai now offers PVC as an additional venting solution for our condensing tankless water heaters. Still in favor of Concentric Polypropylene for its superior joint fit, no cure time, quick installation and reduced wall or roof penetrations, Rinnai recognizes PVC is sometimes more readily available and materials can be less expensive in comparison.
Also on display at the booth are Rinnai’s newest products that offer ease of installation for professionals, while providing the ultimate comfort experience for homeowners.
- The Rinnai E50C Boiler is an ideal solution for residential home-heating and water-heating needs, as it is more cost effective to install, requires fewer pumps and no primary secondary piping for common installations. Designed for smaller residential or multifamily applications with up to 1.5 baths, the E50C touts the highest efficiency of any combi boiler on the market, 95.6 percent AFUE, which translates into reduced monthly energy bills for homeowners.
- The Rinnai Hybrid Tank-Tankless Water Heater combines the on-demand heating technology of a Rinnai Tankless Water Heater with an energy-efficient and durable 40-gallon storage tank, which offer homeowners more than twice the water-heating capacity of a traditional 50-gallon tank based on the first-hour rating. By combining the two technologies, Rinnai has created a high-capacity water heater that installs like a tank, requires a 1/2-inch gas line and is compatible with a 4-inch B-vent or common vent with furnace. The unit’s hot- and cold-water connections are the same as a traditional tank-style water heater.
- The recently re-introduced Vent Free Fan Convector provides the perfect supplemental heating solution to almost any hard-to-heat space, such as an apartment suite, room addition, condo, basement or sunroom. Convenient to use and easy to install, the Fan Convector allows any homeowner or resident to get the most comfort from their space with virtually no heat loss from vents.
Beyond the Show Floor
Rinnai’s presence at IBS this year extends beyond the booth to Professional Builder’s Show Villiage and The New American Home sponsored by the National Association of Home Builders. Both homes feature Rinnai Ultra Condensing Tankless Water Heaters, which tout an Energy Factor (EF) of .96.
